Registering at the World Fair Trade Day Site
The WFTD09 site offers interactive features that allow you to become a Change Agent as soon as you register
- For first-timers, register (make sure you keep your username and password handy for when you return). If you have forgotten your username and/or password, it’s really easy to get a new one. Click on “forgot login?” and then click on either username or password, whichever you have forgotten. A new password and/or a reminder of your username will be sent to your email address in matter of seconds.
- For Registered Members: Log on to the site (username and password)
Be part of the community
-VIDEO
To add a relevant video (from YouTube) you’d like to share with other members:
- click on the “add video” tab with the green cross icon
- copy and paste the link to the video from the YouTube into the “input link” box - go to www.youtube.com and select a video. Copy and Paste the “URL” link located at the right-hand side of the video.
- click on the “Apply”
- change “Publish Status” to “Yes”
- click “Save”
To comment and vote on videos:
- to vote, click on the video then click on the number of stars you want to award in the right hand box
- to comment, click on "Click here to discuss video" enter your comment and click "Submit"
-BLOG
Users can't post new Blog articles. They can only comment on existing Blog articles. If you would like to contribute an article to the News or the Blog section of the site please e-mail it to us and we will publish it for you, after reviewing contents.
To write a comment on an article,
- fill in the boxes at the bottom of the page, agree to the terms and conditions
- click “Add Comment”
-FORUMS
To post a reply to an existing discussion on the forum,
- click on the topic you want to reply to under "All Discussions" or “Categories”
- click on the "quick reply" or “reply” links at the bottom, write what you want to say and then click "Submit".
To set up a new discussion you need to click on Categories,
- click on "2010 Events"
- click on "Post New Topic" enter what you want to say and remember to include something in the subject line
- click "Submit"
-EDIT YOUR PROFILE
Under Forum Settings you can add your personal signature, when finished click “Update”.
Under portrait you can choose an image from our Image Bank on the site OR upload an image of your own to be the ‘face’ of your profile. Make your choice form the drop down box, finish by clicking “Update”
Under Contact Info you can update you login information, specify your language of choice and set your time zone if you wish to. Finish by clicking “Update”.
